Amy Hampton is a Licensed Practical Nurse providing excellent healthcare for over 15 years in the community. Nurse Amy and Dr. Sunny Tomlinson have worked together since 2019 caring for patients as a dedicated team. Her job includes assessing patients, monitoring vital signs, blood draws for in-house labs, operating medical equipment, providing wound care, starting IVs, and administering medication injections and IV infusions to meet her patients’ needs. Additionally, she enjoys providing education to patients and families, collaborating with healthcare teams and properly documenting medical records to ensure prior authorizations are approved. She earned a Board-Certified nursing license from Tri-Rivers school of nursing and was awarded “Nurse of the Month” several times over her career and “Nurse of the Year” in 2018 for providing excellent care to her patients.
When she is not taking care of her patients, Amy enjoys various outdoor activities keeping her mind and body healthy. She loves fishing and riding motorcycles on her time off with her husband Trevor and dogs Olaf and Luna. She has also given her time to a local skilled rehab, offering emotional support, advocating for patient rights and ensuring a safe environment while they recover to return home.
Amy’s dog Luna, a teacup Aussie, easily became our office’s Chief Morale Officer (CMO), always happy to offer emotional support at the office. Our members have fallen in love with her just as we have.
